Xcode 10.11

XCode 8 El Capitan Mac OSX 10.11.6 Part #1.

  1. In my xcode I set the build target to 10.11, for backward compatibility. Now when I add the FFTW library into my XCode project, it complains: The linked library 'libfftw3.a' is missing one or more architectures required by this target: x8664.
  2. A) Visit the Xcode wiki to learn which versions are compatible (use their 'Show/Hide' links to expand for each main version, etc.) b) Use the 'Resources' link above, then 'Downloads', then scroll down and hit 'more dev downloads'. C) Search there - restrictions per version may apply depending on your goals.
  3. Xcode 13 adds powerful new team development features, perfect for working with Xcode Cloud as well as with GitHub, Bitbucket, and GitLab collaboration features. Initiate, review, comment, and merge pull requests directly within Xcode. See your teammates’ comments right inside your code. And quickly compare any two versions of your.

Hi Guys,

I have been using mac book pro from the past two years.

Xcode 10.11.6

my version of OS(operating system) would be OS X 10.9.5 (13F1712) .As of part of enhancing my knowledge on IOS development .I tried installing the XCODE app from apple store, but that went unsuccessful as it was throwing an dialog box with the error message as below:

Xcode can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD” because OS X version 10.11 or later is required.

Xcode 10.15.2

So I started upgrading my os to the version (EL Capitan), which is the latest I guess. But even that process of upgrading went on for about 4 hours and failed.

Now my problem would be with installation of application Xcode on my MAC.

is there any other way, I can achieve that?

How To Use Xcode

Please help me.
